MVPC has three types of regularly scheduled meetings most months. The times and places can be found on our club calendar.
General Meetings/Salons -
These are held the first Thursday of September through May at the Lakeville Area Arts Center. The public is welcome. There is a period of quick club announcements/news/etc., a guest speaker, and critique of member images in the monthly salons. Most salons have a judge.
Focus Nights -
Focus nights are special educational opportunities that cover various topics selected by the club. Topics can range from basic camera operation, how to use specific software, to techniques used for upcoming salon topics. The public is also welcome to these special gatherings. These are usually held the third Thursday of each month at the Eagan Community Center. See the calendar for topics, location, and timing. Other Activities -
Special activities are organized by the activities committee. These often support upcoming salon topics but they can also be topics of interest or special events. See the calendar for topics, location, and timing. See the “What We’re Doing” page for pictures of some past activities.
Board Meetings -
These meetings are held from September through May on the third Thursday. Club members are welcome.
