The MVPC website features a photographic navigation bar (“navbar”) at the top. Every so often, a contest is run to refresh the navbar with new images. Announcements about new contests will be made on the email list and at salon meetings.
Submit up to three images to webmaster@minnesotavalleyphotoclub.org. Follow the same process you would with sending photos for salons. These images should be reserved just for the web contest and they should not be submitted for salons (in the past or future).
Here are the sizes that the images will be viewed on the website. You don’t need to crop your images when you send them. We’ll take care of that. But this does give you an idea of how the photo will look on the website. How well the photo will display in the slider will be taken into consideration during voting.
Open: 310×130 pixels
Closed: 103×130 pixels (so remove 207 pixels from the right of the image)
