About MVPC

Minnesota Valley Photography Club (MVPC) was founded in 1984. It has a membership of over 100+ individuals representing all ages, backgrounds, interest, and levels of experience. They all have a common interest in photography and a desire to expand their photographic skills.

MVPC’s goals are to provide fellowship, continuing education, and the appreciation of the science, technique, and art of photography. Each monthly meeting consists of an educational program and monthly competitions based on theme and open categories.  Competitions alternate between Digital Projections (Color, Monochrome & Novice) and Prints (Color, Monochrome & Novice).

MVPC celebrates an annual awards ceremony each June –  a time to celebrate the following:

The City of Eagan received Award of Excellence honors from the Minnesota Recreation & Parks Association for our Minnesota Valley Photography Partnership. Club photographers volunteer their time to take photos at City of Eagan events, programs and facilities for use in promoting city activities.
