$1.00 Image Stabalizer for Any Camera
Found this ingenious post out on MetaCafe. This guy created an image stabilizer for any camera for less that on dollar. Not a tripod or monopod replacement, but looks like it would work great in a pinch. Click for all the goodness:

Flickr HDR image pool
For those of you interested in seeing some more High Dynamic Range ( HDR ) images, I would suggesting heading over to Flickr and checking out their HDR pool. And if your a member that has some HDR images, add them too the pool.
