DESCRIPTION:Meet by the new visitor’s center. \nWe will be combining a couple of topics: Fall Photography & Intentional Camera Movement. Since it is supposed to be sunny this weekend\, I would recommend bringing along a neutral density filter if you plan on experimenting with intentional camera movement.  Also\, a polarizer would be useful for capturing the fall colors.  If you have not used either of these before\, I will provide a quick tutorial once we are onsite.  If you would like to see how I approach photographing fall colors\, you can watch this video: https://youtu.be/zJGVzSYVQcY?si=FIAkAUX4igRaSE6Z. \nFor camera setup\, I recommend a lens or set of lenses that provide focal lengths between 24 and 200mm for a full frame\, 18 to 200 for crop sensor\, and 12 to 100 for micro four thirds.  Of course you can also bring other lenses to experiment with.  I am considering bringing along a fisheye lens.

DESCRIPTION:November playground at Crex Meadows has been moved to October 31st. \nThis is due to a travel conflict.  I was afraid that moving the playground to an open weekend in November would be too late to photograph the cranes.  Hopefully\, the new date works for everyone. \nWe will meet in the parking lot of the visitor’s center.  It will not be open\, so I recommend stopping at a gas station in town to use the restroom before heading to the visitor’s center.  I will be sending more information prior to the playground.
