Photographer’s Playground
Topic: Topic: ICM + Fall Colors
Meet by the new visitor’s center.
We will be combining a couple of topics: Fall Photography & Intentional Camera Movement. Since it is supposed to be sunny this weekend, I would recommend bringing along a neutral density filter if you plan on experimenting with intentional camera movement. Also, a polarizer would be useful for capturing the fall colors. If you have not used either of these before, I will provide a quick tutorial once we are onsite. If you would like to see how I approach photographing fall colors, you can watch this video: https://youtu.be/zJGVzSYVQcY?si=FIAkAUX4igRaSE6Z.
For camera setup, I recommend a lens or set of lenses that provide focal lengths between 24 and 200mm for a full frame, 18 to 200 for crop sensor, and 12 to 100 for micro four thirds. Of course you can also bring other lenses to experiment with. I am considering bringing along a fisheye lens.
