MVPC regularly conducts events to foster camaraderie while providing opportunities for members to enhance their photography skills. These events include volunteer coverage of Eagan happenings, photo walks, weekend field trips, education outings, and occasions for members to simply get together, such as our annual banquet and festive Holiday Party.

 | JUL 16-23 2023 | Grand Marais Field Trip Led by award-winning photographers Julie Ackerman and David Perez, a group of MVPC photographers spent last week exploring the North of Shore of Lake Superior. Home base was scenic and artsy Grand Marais. Highlights of the Club trip included waterfalls in Cascade River State Park, sunset over Grand Marais harbor, Hollow Rock near Grand Portage (pictured) and the historic Hovland dock. A relaxing and photographically inspiring time in one the state's most beautiful regions. |
 | APR 10 2022 | St. Mathias Church Julie Ackerman, MVPC Activities Co-Chair, organized this event. We met for lunch at a local spot, Dan's Bar and Grill in Hampton, MN. We then proceeded to the church and cemetery to photograph many interesting subjects. |
