Photographer's Playground
May 25, 2024 - ultra-wide & fisheye
Perhaps the most creative type of lens that someone can have in their bag. They can be used for everything from landscape to close-up photography. At the same time, they can also be a challenge to use.
Photographer’s Playground mini-workshops are free events. See what is coming up in the Photographer’s Playground and join us in one of these events to learn more about us, Don and our club.
Don led a photographers playground activity at the Arboretum Saturday morning, – Shooting the Irises with wide and ultra wide lenses for a different look. Diane loves Irises, so she went along. The Irises were in full bloom. Took my fisheye lens along, and brushed the dust off. It was weird shooting away from the sun and still getting it in my image, or getting my legs and shoes in a lot of them. Afterwards we drove along 3 mile drive and the azaleas and rhododendrons were also in full bloom – no lady slippers yet. – Bob Tourdot
